Sarge was our June 2011 Deb's Dog. He was adopted by a great gal and will be living a fun active life. The following is his original story:
Sarge is a SUPER nice, SUPER friendly male 1 year old male Labrador/American Stafforshire Terrier mix. UPAWS loves Sarge! What a playful goofball! He made us smile as soon as we met this silly boy! He's a real good boy who just loves people and playing with his doggie friends during Doggie Playtime at the shelter. He wiggles and waggles with happiness with everyone he meets. He is very handsome and not too big, nor too small...he is just right! Sarge is well-mannered and is learning to walk politely on a leash. Come on out and meet this wonderful boy Sarge...we know you'll just love him up too! Sarge will be delighted to meet you! We love this boy! He has been chosen as the Deb's Dog of the Month for May. The Deb's Dog Program will pay for his neuter. The Deb's Dog Program helps a dog each month either with medical care or sponsorship of neuter and spays. Sarge is up to date with vaccines, has been heartworm tested and he is fine (negative). He is also on heartworm prevention which he will need to take monthly (we recommend this for all dogs).
