Dress Code
The dress code for the employees / volunteers of the UPAWS shall be in accordance with appropriate office attire and attire for shelter operations.
Garments of employees should cover the body. Avoid exposure. Shorts, tank tops, etc., are not appropriate.
Wear shoes that are comfortable and safe, Shelter personnel who deal directly with animals must wear close-toed shoes with skid resistant soles which are securely attached to the feet.
Headgear such as hats, caps, and scarves are not acceptable during working hours except out of doors when necessary for protection from the elements.
Clothing worn must present a business-like appearance by being neat, clean, and in good repair. Shelter personnel who deal directly with the animals must wear sturdy, long pants which afford protection from bites and scratches inflicted by fractious or unruly animals.
