Wanna Be on Top? Pet Photo Calendar Contest
Enter your pet's photo in UPAWS 2nd annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest. Winning photos will be featured in our 2012 calendar with the first place winner appearing on the cover and one of the months.

Entries will be posted on the UPAWS website, at UPAWS shelter, at the Westwood Mall and at various public venues during the voting period.
Winners will be determined by the number of votes cast. The top vote-earner will be featured on the cover and a month in our 2012 calendar. The next eleven vote-earners will be featured on one of the twelve months. Runners up will be featured elsewhere throughout the calendar.
Voting will begin on July 8 and end at midnight, August 5, 2011. Votes submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than August 5, 2011.
Each vote costs 25 cents and there is no limit to the number of votes cast.
Votes may be cast at community events, at the UPAWS Shelter, the UPAWS kiosk at the Westwood Mall, by mail or online at www.upaws.org.
Dealine for entry submissions is June 4, 2011.
A completed entry form and a $10 entry fee must accompany each photo.
No limit to number of animals in each photo. No people.
No limit to the number of entries.
Entries may be submitted by mail, at the Shleter or emailed to calendar@upaws.org.
All submissions become the property of UPAWS and will not be returned.
UPAWS reserves the right to reject any submissions.
Photos must be horizontal (landscape), high quality, and in color.
You may enter prints or digital photos.
Digital photos must be a minimum of 300 dpi, or 3000 x 2400 pixels (landscapre) in JPEG format for printing high quality images for the calendar. A six megapixel camera on its highest resolution seting should provide an excellent quality digital photograph.
Digital photos may be submitted on a CD or via email to: calendar@upaws.org.
Prints must be original 5 x 7 or 8 x 10. No Polaroids.
Submitter must be owner of all rights, including copyright of all photos. No studio photos.
Note: Normal cell phone photos are not of high enough quality; nor are photos that have been taken off website pages. Photos should be taken directly from your camera or photo album.
