Fundraising Activities
The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1975 by concerned local citizens to help unwanted and stray animals in Marquette county. UPAWS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding but relies completely on the generosity of its citizens, members and buisnesses through donations and various fundraising activities.

2013 Burke Pet Portrait Fundraiser
Burke Photo will be holding it's annual portrait fundraiser for UPAWS. April 9th is Burke’s pet portraits, April 13th is pets & people . People & pets outdoor sessions: $129 donation (value: $248). The voucher for the outdoor session must be purchased by April 19th. The outdoor session must be scheduled at designated areas June through August.
