Hunter, Bear & Guya

(submitted on March 11th, 2007)

I'm an employee at the MCHS and have adopted 3 animals from the shelter now. Our first baby was Hunter,a 6 month old husky mix puppy(middle). We already had another 6 month old puppy named Bear(left), and the 2 of them got along great! Then a few months later the most adorable 12 week old australian shephard/cattledog mix puppy came in and I fell in love instantly. Guya(right), formerly known as Madison, was the new addition to the family and although she had trust issues and some food aggression, we worked through them and now she's one happy pooch. All 3 dogs get along great, they love to play together in the backyard, they all love swimming, and they've all been such a joy to my life, I don't know how I ever lived without them. The newest addition to the family is Tigger, aka Morris, a 2 yr old orange tabby that i just couldn't keep myself from adopting. I have 2 cats already and wasn't planning on adopting any more but when he came in and I saw how sweet he was, and how he hugs and kisses and was so affectionate, I knew he was meant to be a part of my family. Thank goodness for the shelter or my family would never be complete.
