Allie

(submitted on March 19th, 2007)

I adopted Allie in April 2003 as an 8 week old puppy and you can see she has grown up to be a beautiful dog. Allie has a few quirks (but who among us doesn't?) but I'm glad she is part of my family. She and I spend a lot of time outdoors - we walk, hike, cross country ski, snow shoe, look for berries and just generally have a great time. She is my outdoor supervisor, making sure the garden is kept tidy and the yard neat. Her first summer was an adventure in the garden. She watched me closely as I carefully planted flowers and transplants, but if she thought I had put them in the wrong place, she would simply pull them out. Fortunately she has outgrown that little caper. She loves her kiddie pool to splash around in on hot summer days.

I guess supervising me must be quite tiring as I find Allie and Murray laying around on the furniture often. I love my animals and I am so glad the humane society is here for the benefit of our furry friends.
