Murray

I am a volunteer at the Marquette County Humane Society and in August 1995 I adopted Murray who was just a tiny 8 week old kitten. As you can see from the photo he has grown into a large handsome lad. He is by far the most affectionate cat I have ever known. Because he is so big, he can sit on his backside and beg like a dog. He has the loudest purr - you can hear him across the room. Murray plays king of the castle with his feline friend Miss Kitty who was already with me when he came on the scene. His mere size alone gives him the advantage when they are both after the same toy. She is fleeter of foot but he's the heavyweight. Murray is the indoor supervisor and he acts as the general wake up call (it's time to feed me) in the morning and makes sure all his meals are served on time!
