Gibson (submitted on September 25th, 2005) Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how Chile (now named Gibson) is doing. He is growing like a weed, and is a very good boy! He seems to love his new home and his mom. He also loves his "grandma" who watches him by day while mom is working. He loves to ride in the Jeep, loves to go walking, play tug with his tug rope, ball, Kong and he loves his stuffed "baby" rottweiler. He also has been excellent meeting all kinds of new people and children. My god children absolutely love him. He is trying very hard to win over his Aunt Melody and Uncle Max (My mom's cocker spaniels)They accepted him from the beginning, but Gibson has had to work to get them to play. Although they don't necessarily cuddle up together, they are all getting along quite well. I presume that in another few weeks I will have a picture of the 3 together. :) He loves to play with his cat brother and sister (Ozzy and Jetta). They like to tease him, and he definately likes to tease them. All three do well together in my basement apartment. If they open, attached are two pictures that were taken about a day or two after Gibson came home. He is much bigger now. BTW he has done EXCELLENT with his crate training! He had an accident the very first night he was home, and after that, there were no more. We keep him on a schedule and this has helped him to do well. He has his favorite spot in the trees to go and has been barking to go out (usually anywhere between 5-7am)so he doesn't mess.
Thank you for allowing me to adopt this wonderful boy! He's a sweetie!
