Sam (aka Semm) & Riley - Together Again!

(submitted on December 4th, 2009)

Hi Folks,

George and I wanted to let you folks know how the brothers are doing.

Semm (now Sam) and Riley took to each other right away. We have 1/2
acre fenced yard that they can run in and we've taken several walks
around the neighborhood together. Sam and Riley have been doing a lot
of running and playing, then they crash on side by side beds. While
Sam is much larger, Riley seems to be the alpha here. In fact, we
have two cats and Gizmo, the bold one, sometimes sits at the top of
the stairs watching the dogs. Sam will only go partway up the stairs
if Gizmo is there! He starts out looking like he wants to go play
with Gizmo and heads toward him, then turns after a few stairs and
heads back down.

Sam was anxious at first when we got home and paced
almost constantly. He's calmed down a lot in a couple of days and is
making himself at home (as you can see in the pictures). He is a real
sweetheart.

Thanks so much for helping us make this work.

George and Linda
