Bill Irwin

(submitted on August 7th, 2006)

We adopted our dog Bill from the Humane Society eleven years ago. He was one and a half years old. We were his third home. Bill is a terrier mix and we absolutely adore him. He has been the best dog. I wanted some type of terrier and I wasn't finding one. One evening when I was watching the TV6 news there was a story on pertaining to the Humane Society. They showed the inside of the kennel and I saw the sweetest terrier. I knew I HAD to have this dog. I called the Humane Society the next day and hoped that the tape I saw was current and not an old file tape. They told me that it was current and the terrier was there. I came down and saw Bill and that was it. I knew he was the dog for me!!! I very much appreciated the Humane Society accomodating me...I did not want to go into the kennel area. I asked if they could bring him out to me and they did. I truly believe that Humane Society pets are the best because they are so grateful and they know that they were saved. I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks!!!
