Italics (Shadow)

When I first adopted Italics, previously named Shadow, I was so worried he would always be the little ball of fur I met at the shelter, curled up in the corner napping and lethargic. Not to mention I had no idea what to expect with a kitty that had feline leukemia.

Almost four months later and I can't believe I was ever worried. He's the sweetest cat, such a character, and so full of energy. He's become a notorious pen thief, especially if you're using it. He also loves to guard my homework by sitting on it and fending off anyone trying to take it from him. He's really just too gentle to be considered a real threat though. My roommate didn't know he had claws for the first month I had him! He greets me at the door, visits with guests, and loves playing with his toys.

I'm so glad he was the kitty I took home. He's so much better than any cat I could have ever imagined. He's perfect just the way he is.
