Hello!

I wanted to let you know how things are going since we adopted Annie Gordon (formerly Tinsel). She's wonderful! Annie is very smart, she uses her litter box, stomps happily when given bananas (her favorite treat) and gets along great with our dog Katie and cat Kelly (also adopted from MCHS). Annie has been a joy in helping us heal after the loss of our beloved dog Megan. She is so cuddly and sweet! Her peaceful nature makes me step back from the daily stresses in life to just enjoy her company.

Annie's daily routine includes supervised free time outside of her cage where she does the most hilarious bunny dance. She also spends time with Mom & Dad in bed while watching the news. She usually snuggles up to Mom, but Annie is warming up towards Dad, too. She loves chewing on his beard which he isn't very fond of. One thing we've learned from her is that bunnies snore! She will stretch out and let loose like a little chain saw!

Annie and Kelly are great examples of the wonderful animals available through MCHS. We encourage anyone interested in getting a pet to talk with your staff about adoption. We appreciate all the help and information your staff gave us during the adoption. MCHS is wonderful!
