Hello Everybody,
I just thought I’d let you know what’s been going on. First off, Mom is beside herself. She thinks she’s been sold a bill of goods, because I am NOTHING like I was when I was staying with you.
I am Miss Chatty Cathy. I talk, talk, talk, all the time. But I am having a ball. I used to be able to hide in the bathtub. Mom always had the shower curtain closed. But now she’s figured it out. So if she can’t find me, she looks in the tub, and Wha-La, there I am.
I’ve been lots of trouble. I am urinating quite nicely in my litter box, but I am leaving all my lovely little solid chocolate pyramids on the floor in the closet of the spare bedroom. I don’t know why. I just feel like it. Mom is trying different things. We will see if I feel like adjusting or maybe I’ll just keep depositing pyramids in the closet. Tee-Hee. I am so bad.
Last Friday night I hocked-up the biggest hairball in cat history. Boy did I feel better after that! Mom said if I would let her brush me every night I would be less likely to have that problem. I’m not sure if I believe her, but I have settled down a little and I have let her do an extensive brushing on me twice now. She got out a quite a few mats. Well, maybe she has something there. I’ll try to let her brush me more.
Mom is all about playing fish, but I’m not as amused as I used to be. I have figured out that the fish is connected to the line that’s connected to the rod and reel, and that’s connected to Mom. Somehow, knowing that has killed the thrill. I do still like my kitty tunnel and my catnip toys.
Oh, and major excitement. Mom bought one of those cheap electric fireplace heaters, and I Love, Love, Love it. It emits warm air and I just love lying in front of it. You know my new life is so stressful; it’s nice to be able to kick back and relax – Ha!
I’m still sleeping in bed with Mom every night. It’s quite warm and cozy. Thanks again for keeping me safe until I was adopted. I’m really diggin’ my new home.
