This gentle old soul was found as a little lost stray. He was having a rough time outside and was sure glad to arrive at UPAWS. Poor Bonham was very hungry, thirsty and covered in sores. He had FIV and we found out that t his sweet man also had advanced cancer. Bonham was a staff and volunteer favorite – he was such a funny character! Sadly, Bonham’s cancerous tumors had spread recently throughout his body. He could not eat any longer on his own due to the tumors and he was in suffering in pain. The difficult decision was made to help Bonham cross to the Rainbow Bridge. Though he was a stray and we do not know what his life was like before he arrived at UPAWS, we do know that his last few weeks and days were filled with pure love and care - peaceful and surrounded by those that loved him. Rest in Peace you wonderful old man. You will be remembered, always.
